Team RSK Parent/Player Participation Criteria

1.  Players must submit most recent report card and birth certificate.

2.  Players must have 2.3 GPA or higher in every subject listed on the report card. (We abide by the NCAA Eligibility Center – formerly known as the NCAA Clearing House - requirements.) Players must have good conduct grade on the report card – no exceptions.

3.  Playing time is not GUARANTEED. There is no equal playing time.

4.  Parents and/or players who exhibit habitual bad behavior or offensive/foul language will be removed from the program. The Team RSK leadership team (or board) reserves the right to remove any player from the program for misconduct.  The board is the final voice in determining what is deemed intolerable behavior.

5.  Parents must exhibit good conduct at all events. This includes respecting the coaching team and its decision making/calls. Also, it is imperative that parents NOT instruct players during the games.

A parent yelling out instructions hardly ever helps. More often than not, it confuses the player, adds pressure and goes against the coaches’ instruction, which undermines the player-coach relationship, the parent-player relationship, and the parent-coach relationship. Parents and player may be removed for continuous violations of this policy.

6. Players must commit to a minimum of two, 2 hour practices each week. High school 16U & 17U players could practice up to 3 hours per practice.

7. Players will work at our annual tournament by helping keep the gyms clean.

8.  Parents are responsible for travel expenses to practice and events. Parents are responsible for the travel, hotel and food costs for their individual player(s).

9.  Parents must volunteer a minimum of four (4) hours during the Rim Shaker Classic Annual tournament.

10.  Players must turn in their uniforms to the coach after the last game at every event - no exceptions.

Failure to abide by any of the following policies is cause for the parent and/or player to be removed from the program. The Team RSK leadership team is the ultimate and final decision-making body when determining policy infractions and consequences.
